The Project

With a growing family, Mr & Mrs T undertook some major improvements to their home including a large rear extension to accommodate a family hub – kitchen, living, dining space.  We were initially approached early in the process to talk through layout ideas & regularly communicated with their building team as the major works were undertaken.  The installation of the kitchen was carried out by our own fitting team

The design brief was focused upon a modern and uncluttered space and the dream of a large kitchen island where kids and friends can perch to do their homework, arts and crafts or have a coffee and a chat.  The family chose colours of cashmere and oxidised emerald from our Mereway furniture range and this was complimented with Corian worktops.  The BORA extractor hob mitigates the need for any ceiling extraction to disrupt the line of sight through the room and lots of storage solutions such as the large pan and utensil drawers on one side of the island, larder cupboards with internal drawers and a le mans unit and a row of cupboards on the back of the island result in an accessible storage place for everything and uncluttered surfaces.
