Cottage kitchen in Swanmore, Southampton

The Project

Kitchens come in all shapes and sizes!  This kitchen in a beautiful old cottage new Bishops Waltham is not just galley shaped but made up of the original kitchen plus and extension on an extension.  Removing the walls wasn’t an options and so the home owners approached us to design a kitchen throughout the 3 ‘rooms’ that was both practical and had adequate storage and display areas for all of their beautiful crockery.

Using Mereway Kitchens shaker style furniture in light grey we created zones within the 3 ‘spaces’ – the largest for cooking and preparation, the other two Incorporating integrated appliances such as the fridge freezer, washing machine and wine cooler whilst also having purpose built areas to showcase those display items.   As a part of this project we also renewed the downstairs WC which sits directly off the kitchen, carrying through the beautiful tiled flooring throughout the rooms.
