Bespoke colours in a Romsey Kitchen
The Project
Our Romsey clients really wanted something different and unique to them! The influence for the colours in the kitchen, as a part of our brief, was the fabric from some inherited chairs. Our clients had a definite view of some of the elements they wished to incorporate into their kitchen, whilst others they left up to us as a part of the design. There were a lot of conversations and tweaks made as we progressed the design but we loved the challenge of designing this space.
Our clients had also been looking at options for bathrooms and having enjoyed working with us through the design process of the kitchen asked us to design & install two bathrooms and a downstairs WC.
What the customer said…
We wanted some experienced input into the design and layout of our proposed new kitchen, so who better to ask than a professional kitchen design team you’d think. Not necessarily. We had three separate companies round to advise and quote, but two of the three simply sat down and asked us what we wanted; only Solent Kitchen Design engaged with us to any degree in the design concept. In fact David’s first reaction on arrival was to accurately measure the kitchen and find out where the existing water and power supplies were – great start – the others were only interested in a coffee and a chair. We were so impressed with the help, design standard and finish offered by SKD that we also asked them to help design and fit two bathrooms and a cloakroom, all of which have exceeded our expectations.
– what more can I say – we recommend them very highly.
