“We wanted some experienced input into the design and layout of our proposed new kitchen, so who better to ask than a professional kitchen design team you’d think.  Not necessarily.  We had three separate companies round to advise and quote, but two of the three simply sat down and asked us what we wanted; only SKD engaged with us to any degree in the design concept.  In fact David’s first reaction on arrival was to accurately measure the kitchen and find out where the existing water and power supplies were – great start – the others were only interested in a coffee and a chair.  We were so impressed with the help, design standard and finish offered by SKD that we also asked them to help design and fit two bathrooms and a cloakroom, all of which have exceeded our expectations.

David and James are very knowledgeable about the wide range of kitchen and bathroom products on the market and many of those products are available to see, touch and stroke in the  showroom.  David was happy to spend hours with us during the design stages of our projects and at no time appeared frustrated by our indecision, but leading us slowly through the process, so that we were never left feeling swamped by having to make so many decisions so quickly.  He was happy to bandy about ideas for products, colours, finishes – you name it – and even when we changed our minds about which range of kitchen units to use after he had produced the drawings, he made the changes with good humour – what more can I say – we recommend them very highly.”
